Tiger Woods’ personal life has been making the headlines lately with his blossoming romance with Vanessa Trump, but his former mistress is also sharing a few life updates.
Golf fans will remember Rachel Uchitel, who was at the center of Woods’ infidelity scandal in 2009. While she wasn’t the only woman having an affair with the legendary golfer while he was married to Elin Nordegren, the 50-year-old host of the Miss Understood podcast was easily the most famous one.

In 2021, she broke her silence about the infamous moment in the HBO documentary, Tiger. “And for 10 years, I’ve had to live with such hatred of people, and it still affects me to this moment, and I think that’s a really unfair thing for women to have to go through,” Uchitel told Page Six four years ago. “And it’s something very uncomfortable that I think people not only in the public eye but in the private eye, go through all the time and I think that people can really empathize in that situation, and I think that there are plenty of people that understand that concept of something happens and then you get shamed for it and you continually get shamed for it.”
By finally sharing her side of the story, she hoped to have a fresh start. Uchitel said she was ready for the “second chapter of life and be able to have my own comeback and my own fresh start, and I want people to have a little bit of empathy because I’m just like everybody else, and I’d like to sort of live my life again.” It sounds like she was able to achieve her goals only a few years later.
In addition to starting her podcast, Uchitel is officially engaged! She shared happy snapshots with her fiancé Dan Donavan just moments after he proposed at the very romantic hotel, Rosewood Miramar Beach in Santa Barbara. The engagement happened on March 27. Uchitel sported a seriously sizable emerald-cut ring — we are talking massive!
Uchitel hasn’t revealed how long they’ve been dating, but the duo has been popping up in each other’s Instagram comments since last fall. Donovan is the founder of Stratoscope, an event security solutions company. The timing of Uchitel’s announcement is purely coincidental, but it does come just days after Woods hard-launched his relationship with Trump.
“Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side!” Woods wrote in the caption. “We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time, we would appreciate privacy to all those close to our hearts.”
Woods and Uchitel haven’t seen each other in over 15 years, but they will forever be entwined in controversy.
