Tiger Woods’ Ex Mistress Rachel Uchitel Is Engaged

Rachel Uchitel is getting hitched.

The Miss Understood with Rachel Uchitel podcast host, 50, announced her engagement to her boyfriend, Dan Donovan, via a joint post on Instagram on Friday, March 28. “So this happened.. 💍💥❤️ #engaged,” Uchitel wrote in the caption.

In the first pic, Uchitel is seen flashing a smile while showing off her sparkling new bling — a radiant-cut diamond on a thin band with melee diamonds. Other photos depict Donovan hugging and kissing Uchitel just moments after he popped the question.

The proposal appears to have taken place in the evening at Rosewood Miramar Beach in Montecito, California. In the pictures, the couple embraces near a crackling fireplace on an elevated patio just steps away from the ocean. 

Donovan is the founder of security companies Stratoscope and Ingressotek, according to his Instagram bio. He re-shared his and Uchitel’s post to his Instagram story, writing, “She said Yes!🙌.” 

He also posted one of the engagement photos again to his page with the text overlay, “She brings me to my knee!” He added in the caption, “Something shiny for the most amazing woman!! ❤️.”

The engagement announcement comes five days after Tiger Woods, 49, made his relationship with Vanessa Trump, Donald Trump Jr.’s ex-wife, Instagram official on March 23. PEOPLE first confirmed on March 13 that Woods and Vanessa, 47, had been quietly dating for several months. 

Uchitel made headlines 16 years ago for being at the forefront of Woods’ 2009 sex scandal. She opened up about her relationship with the golf star, who was married to Elin Nordegren at the time of their affair, in HBO’s two-part docuseries Tiger in 2021.
